Dan is a veteran of the litigation funding industry and an attorney experienced in both commercial and public practice. Most recently, Dan served as Chief Investment Officer and Director of Innovation at Law Finance Group, overseeing underwriting and risk management. In this capacity, he helped navigate product development and investment functions from the ground up. Dan’s commercial representation focuses on patent litigation and technology licensing, and he previously served as a supervising Staff Attorney at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Dan earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his B.A. in Philosophy summa cum laude from Dartmouth College, where he won the Francis W. Gramlich Philosophy Prize.
